IRCS Relief App Privacy Policy

IRCS Relief App has been designed, developed and published by IFI Technologies on behalf of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) National Headquarters (NHO) Delhi, lndia. IRCS is committed to protecting your privacy, while delivering the software that brings you the convenience you desire in IRCS Relief App.This privacy statement governs your use of IRCS Relief  App. It does not apply to other online or offline lndian Red Cross Society (IRCS} sites, services, or apps.

The IRCS Relief Distribution Mobile App is designed to empower volunteers in the field by streamlining the delivery of relief items under the guidance of IRCS District Branches. The app enables accurate beneficiary identification, efficient event allocation, and clear volunteer tasking, ensuring that relief reaches those most in need.

Collection and Use of Your Information

IRCS Relief App does not share any personally identifiable information, logins, passwords or any other data to third parties. The volunteer login feature requires mobile number validation via OTP to provide the service and this data is not shared to third parties. This app uses the current geographical location of the user to identify the location of relief distribution. The app does not store the user location either in the app or on any server belonging to IRCS or third party. In case the user does not wish to provide the current location information, the user can turn off the location services. In this case, App informs the user that łocation services are not available when the app is started.  In addition, the app requires permissions for INTERNET,ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE,READ_ PHONE_STATE,CALL _PHONE,MAPS_RECEIVE, READ_GSERVICES, GET_ACCOUNTS, READ_PROFILE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, ACCESS_FINE LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION. Further, the user can revoke or deny any of the permissions sought by the app from the device’s settings option.

IRCS respects and protects the privacy of the individuals who use IRCS Relief App services and is committed to helping protect the security of your information. The information captured by the app is not shared with any third party.
