The Hon’ble President of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) (Hon’ble President of India) has kindly fixed the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IRCS on Monday, the 22 September, 2025 (postponed). The Ceremonial Session of the AGM will be held from 11.00 AM to 12.00 Noon at Rashtrapati Bhawan Cultural Centre, New Delhi. The Hon’ble President will preside over the Ceremonial Session of the AGM and felicitate the best performing State/UT Red Cross Branches and distinguished Red Cross volunteers.
Shri J.P. Nadda, the Hon’ble Chairman, IRCS (Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India) will preside over the Business Session of the AGM from 12.20 PM onwards on the same day to transact the following business:-
Presentation, consideration and adoption of:-
Approval for appointment of Statutory Auditors for the years 2024-25 & 2025-26 and their remuneration.
As per IRCS Rule 4.3, at each Annual General Meeting, the Annual Report, the audited annual accounts and the budget of the succeeding financial year shall be presented, considered and adopted. Rule 4.4 stipulates that the Annual Accounts for the financial year concluding prior to the Annual General Meeting shall, before being presented, be circulated to the State and Union Territory Branch Committees.
